Companies in 2026 will use entirely different marketing methods to promote their businesses. Social media platforms display daily content about popular people who have many followers, which shows their current trend. Their recommendations create an impression of personal connection because they present information like a friend would. The organizations seek to obtain this particular trait which exists within him.

When it comes to people versus influencers some famous people are still in charge. With all the computer-made content and people with smaller followings these six famous people are still trusted by many. They have a something that no computer can match.

Shah Rukh Khan: The Person Who Shows Us What We Can Achieve

Shah Rukh Khan is not just someone who promotes products; he is the product. In 2026 he is still talking about tech things. When he promotes something he is selling a dream. When he says something is good it’s a deal. He is great at being a fashion movie star and a modern social media personality. Shah Rukh Khan is still a deal.

Akshay Kumar: The Face of Being Healthy and Reliable

Companies that want to talk about being healthy or disciplined ask Akshay Kumar for help. He wakes up at 5:00 AM every day. That’s who he is. Akshay Kumar has been consistent for a time and thats why companies that sell insurance, healthy things and everyday products want him to promote their products. Akshay Kumar is a face.

MS Dhoni: The Person Who Remains Calm

MS Dhoni is still someone people trust in 2026. In a social media world MS Dhoni is calm and stable. When MS Dhoni says something people listen. They listen because of what he has done in the past. MS Dhonis words carry weight.

Virat Kohli: The Person Who Always Does His Best

Virat Kohli does things perfectly. He is an athlete and a social media personality. He is about being the best. For companies that make sports equipment, clothes and high-tech things Virat Kohli is the person to promote their products. People know he always does his best. Virat Kohli sets a standard.

Vicky Kaushal: The Famous Person Who Feels Like a Normal Person

Vicky Kaushal seems like an acquaintance because of his honesty. Brands use Vicky Kaushal to target people who appreciate people but also want to relate to/feel comfortable around them. Vicky Kaushal is relatable.

Sonu Sood: The Person Who Cares About Others

Sonu Sood did something during the pandemic and in 2026 he is still a hero. Companies that want to show they care about people and are turn to Sonu Sood. He helps people. When Sonu Sood promotes something it means a lot. Sonu Sood is a person.

The fight is not about who has followers on media. It’s about who controls the story. Influencers are good at being relatable. These six famous people are good at being authorities. In 2026 successful companies use both influencers and famous people to promote their products. They know the value of both. Companies are smart, about it.

Kites are chosen carefully – bright ones, big ones, the kind that look brave against the sky. Children wait impatiently, counting days, practicing their grip, imagining the moment their kite finally takes flight. On Sankranti morning, rooftops turn into playgrounds. The sky fills up slowly, then all at once.

There is laughter, competition, playful teasing, and that one moment of pure triumph when a kite soars higher than the rest. Someone brings peanuts, someone else brings sweets, and conversations flow as easily as the breeze.

It is a festival where generations sit side by side. Grandparents tell stories of how Sankranti used to be. Parents juggle responsibilities while secretly enjoying the break. Children run between rooms and rooftops, full of excitement. There is no rush, no pressure – just presence.

The simple act of sharing til-gud carries meaning. “Til-gud ghya, god god bola” isn’t just a saying; it’s a reminder to be kind, to speak sweetly, to start anew. Even when life feels uncertain, Sankranti arrives on time, quietly reassuring us that some things remain steady.

There is comfort in waking up to the same winter sun, eating the same sweets, following the same customs we grew up with.
In the ‘90s, cricket was worshiped, and girls were told to sit on the sidelines. That’s when Cadbury flipped the script with its “Real Taste of Life” ad. Who can forget the girl dancing onto the pitch after her boyfriend hits a six? Breaking barriers with the same ease as biting into Dairy Milk. It wasn’t just an ad; it was liberation disguised as chocolate. Suddenly, Dairy Milk wasn’t just sweet — it was bold, fresh, and way ahead of its time.

Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cricket are back

And then, almost 25 years later, Cadbury brings back the same ad to a changed India– “#GoodLuckGirls.”

In a genius move, Cadbury reimagined this Ad and gave it a modern spin. This time, it wasn’t a boy at the crease — it was a female cricketer smashing the winning six, as her male partner broke into the same joyous dance on the sidelines. It wasn’t just a nostalgic throwback; it was a powerful statement about how far India has come in conversations about gender and equality. Cadbury showed that while the joy of celebration remains the same, the face of the hero can change — and that change is beautiful.

Cadbury Dairy Milk wishes #GoodLuckGirls to all those hitting it out of the park.

Quiet feels like something we need to remedy.

But here’s the twist: all this busyness is not making us more contented. In fact, we’re more stressed, distracted, and overwhelmed than ever. We pursue engagement but lose touch, particularly with ourselves. These breaks allow us to come back to ourselves.

And that’s what we’re lacking.
Recently, influencer and reality star Uorfi Javed did just that. In an unfiltered Instagram post, Uorfi revealed she was getting her lip fillers dissolved after nearly nine years. The actress documented the painful procedure, sharing images and videos of her swollen face — a stark contrast to the polished images we’re used to seeing online.

All these doctors with fancy clinics know nothing.”

The admission underlines the risks often overlooked in the pursuit of perfection. Poorly executed procedures can lead to lasting damage — a reality for many who entrust their bodies to unqualified practitioners.

So where does the line lie? On one side, the argument champions autonomy: your body, your rules. If enhancements bring confidence, why should anyone object? On the other, critics warn of the psychological and physical dangers of an industry that profits from insecurity.

Perhaps the answer lies in balance. Transparency, informed decisions, and a shift away from unrealistic standards could pave the way for safer, healthier choices. Uorfi Javed’s candid revelation might just be the push this dialogue needed.

Social media has radically redefined how beauty is consumed—and who gets to define it. A viral filter can spark a skincare craze. A TikTok creator’s “dewy dumpling” glow can become the next big makeup must-have. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok have transformed the human face into a trend timeline. Terms like “glass skin,” “blush bombs,” “bleached brows,” and even “hair slugs” (yes, that’s real) have become part of the modern beauty lexicon. With each scroll, new standards are born, and just as quickly, old ones fade.
But in this glow of boundless innovation is a more profound issue. Filters, which were originally harmless entertainment, have gone on to become quiet instruments that smooth over more than lines. They relax jawlines, enlarge eyes, and subtly color skin—making impossible standards internalized as the new norm. What is started out as enhancement gives way to an unbalanced view of beauty, particularly among young, vulnerable viewers.
However, in the midst of this digitally perfected world, a counterculture is gradually taking shape. In India, artists are more and more stepping away from airbrushed beauty and embracing the real thing. Filter-free selfies are now ousting heavily edited glamour shots. #NoFilter, #BareSkin, and #AcnePositive hashtags are taking off, promoting a movement in beauty that celebrates reality. Melanin-kissed skin, curly hair, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, and rough scars are being proudly shown—not concealed.
This change isn’t merely cosmetic—it’s cultural. It is a reclaiming of beauty norms by individuals who were once disenfranchised from them. From Delhi college campuses to the alleys of Dibrugarh, there is a new generation that’s rewriting the story. Beauty no longer means conforming; it means self-belief. And finally, brands are taking note. Campaigns are now featuring real, multi-faceted faces across skin tones, shapes, and identities. The airbrushed perfection of yore is being replaced with an inclusive, representative ideal of beauty.
In this new digital landscape, everybody is both the creator and the consumer. Beauty is participatory, performative, and sometimes even political. It’s no longer a matter of how we look, but why we decide to look that way—and what our choices reveal about us.
