Jolly LLB has been a courtroom drama series that has always been praised for its emotional power, witty humor, and strong acting. Now with Arshad and Akshay Kumar in it makes it more worth it to watch. In addition, the film did not draw big early-morning crowds, in contrast to the hype; the 9 AM screening I went to had slightly more than 20 viewers. The Story: A Fight for Justice in Rural Rajasthan

The film begins with a tragic incident involving a farmer from a village in Rajasthan. A powerful businessman is behind the injustice, and the case eventually reaches the courtroom.
This time, it’s Jolly vs Jolly, Akshay Kumar versus Arshad Warsi, a clash that fans have been waiting for.

The biggest surprise?
Almost everything you saw in the teaser and trailer belongs only to the first half. The second half is almost entirely unseen, which works beautifully in the film’s favor.

First Half: Slow Build-Up, Decent Humor

In the first half, so much attention is given to the case setup and to the characters that we have met before, the latter almost taking the entire movie. Nevertheless, this buildup gives an impression of stretching and dragging; there are, however, a few scenes that could have been cut without any impact at all on the overall plot.

The courtroom drama here feels just okay, not bad, not great.

Second Half: The Film Finds Its Soul

At the point where the movie gets to the second half, it totally changes direction—

And this is truly when the magic starts.

The storyline, which is based on a true story of farmers’ hardships, gets to a point where it is very emotive and dramatic. Although the use of artistic license is clear, it does not interfere with the main point.

Every actor brings their A-game:

Arshad Warsi – effortlessly witty and confident
Akshay Kumar – controlled, impactful, and mature
Saurabh Shukla – the backbone of the franchise, as always

Their chemistry and timing make the courtroom sequences highly engaging.

However, the comedy fades completely in the second half. The tone becomes serious and emotional, especially when the film highlights how society often ignores the very farmers who feed the nation.

Performances: The Heart of the Film

Seema Biswas, who plays the victim, delivers the most emotionally powerful performance. Her one-minute breakdown scene inside the courtroom leaves the entire hall silent.
It’s raw, real, and unforgettable.

Music & Cinematography

The film has only one song, placed in the second half, and it blends perfectly with the emotional arc.
Visually, the film keeps things simple—no slow-motion hero entries, no over-the-top angles.
Each character enters naturally, reinforcing realism over glamour.

The dialogues are meaningful, layered, and thought-provoking. One line about farmers hits especially hard.

Negatives

The judge’s love angle felt unnecessary.
First-half comedy could have been stronger.
Pacing issues in the beginning.

Final Verdict: Powerful, Emotional & Meaningful

Despite its flaws, Jolly LLB 3 Review delivers exactly what it promises
a relevant message, strong performances, impactful courtroom drama, and emotional depth.

The film is family-friendly and beautifully raises awareness about the struggles of farmers in today’s world.
