Border 2 Movie Review: The film has been released in cinemas, and everyone is talking about it. It has become an even more talked-about topic because it has been released on republicday week.

Republic Day weekend has always been the ‘Big Stage’ for patriotic Bollywood epics. While I went in hoping for the same emotional nostalgia that the 1997 original gave us, I left feeling that Bollywood has prioritized GFX over soul once again.

I hope everyone has seen the old border movie in which we have Sunny Deol, Akshaay Khaana, Suniel Shetty, etc, who can forget their acting and the way they have carried the movie. The Old Border Movie has a Budget of 12 crores and collected 70 crores approx at the box office. We all can feel the patriotism in the film. Border 2 has a Budget of 275 Crores and in just 4 days, it has collected 190 crores.

New Border 2 Movie Review

The film is gaining popularity, and most talk-about this week; everyone was expecting this sequel to be as thrilling and engaging as the first sequel of the film. I have watched the movie in Theaters. I am not sure how I would rate this movie, but for me it’s 6/10. Lets First talk about the cast. We have our classic Sunny Deol as the movie starts; he is the backbone of this sequel, without him, we could not imagine the Border movie to be as famous as it is right now. He has done his job right on point in this film as well. Now we have our second actor for whom we have been concerned, and it’s Varun Dhawan. He is known for its joyfull nature or character. Seeing him in this movie is difficult for his fans or anyone else. But despite his Nature He has done a wonderful job, maybe not perfect, but to some extent, he made it justified. Another actor who has done a wonderful job in this movie, besides Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan, is Mona Singh. She has played a beautiful role in the movie as the mother of the army officer. We can see the emotions and pain that we see in the army officer’s mother. Her makeup, dressing style, voice tone, everything is 10/10.

Performances That Missed the Mark

Now let’s talk about the parts that didn’t fit.

Ahan Shetty: For some reason, he didn’t justify the role he was given. The VFX work in his naval sequences felt unnatural and didn’t match his performance properly.

Things to appreciate

Maybe films has its own flow, but they also have some positives in them, as the makers have really used Sunny Deol’s voice tone in a very creative way, which gives you goosebumps. I would say the storyline is good sequel is nice. The Selection of songs in the movie is also very nice, and the movie has a family angle, not the hero-heroine romance which they did in Gadder 2.

What is my opinion?

As I have already told you, I would rate 6/10 for this film. This film has nothing but just got the Nostalgia Angle for its popularity, other than that it adds nothing to patriotism, and this film has so much VFX, which will make you feel that all that was going ions not real, from colour grading to Film tone. I would watch this film on TV, not in theaters. Its not me who is saying that this film is not up to the mark, but it’s also not worth watching.

The ending credits provide the most significant enjoyment for original fans. The show features Suniel Shetty and Akshaye Khanna, and Sudesh Berry in archival-style cameo appearances. The original cast performs a tribute to the new generation, which demonstrates expert skills in creating nostalgic moments.

Jurassic World: Rebirth brings back dino mayhem, this time layered with a surprisingly thoughtful, philosophical twist on coexistence and control. This latest movie review highlights the film’s bold shift from controlling nature to coexisting with it adding surprising depth to the chaos.

Plot Summary

Set five years after the global chaos of Jurassic World: Dominion, the world is now adjusting to a fragile truce between humans and dinosaurs. The black-market dino trade has been largely dismantled, and a UN-led program called Project Eden. Furthermore it has established dino sanctuaries across the globe.

The peace is short-lived. A rogue biotech company, Novagen, develops a new breed of genetically modified super-predators with a terrifying ability: adaptive intelligence. When one such creature escapes into the wild, it threatens not only human cities but also the entire balance of coexistence.

Claire and Owen return to action with a dino-linguist (Anya Taylor-Joy) to protect a hybrid dinosaur orphan.

What Works

Visually Stunning: The VFX team pulls no punches. From neon-lit raptor chases to lush jungle vistas, the film delivers stunning visuals that feel ripped from Planet Earth.

Fresh Themes: Rebirth attempts to go beyond survival horror. It plays with ideas of communication, coexistence, and even empathy between species a welcome evolution for the series.

Standout Performances: Anya Taylor-Joy adds emotional depth, and Justice Smith returns with much-needed comic relief. Moreover, human-dino bond subplot, though familiar, is well-executed.

What Doesn’t Work

✗ Dinosaurs Galore, Tension Be Gone: The amount of species that we can see sometimes takes away from their impact. What was once awe and fear in the original Jurassic Park movie feels more like an action film spectacle.

✗ Unwieldy Subplots: The movie weaves in eco-politics, corporate espionage, eco-terrorism, and a rescue mission some elements land well, others feel forced. The final act wasn’t cohesive.

✗ Generic Third Act: Also first two-thirds feel fresh, but the final act reverts to Jurassic clichés sprinting, screaming, explosions, and a predictable rescue.

Thoughts

However, latest movie review, Rebirth isn’t a full reinvention, but it refreshes a franchise lost in prehistoric chaos. It balances visual spectacle with some thematic weight but does not entirely shake off the lineage that preceded it. It may not roar like the original, but Rebirth proves there’s still something thrilling about a T-Rex storming through a skyline.

Maa Latest Movie Review ( 2025 ) is a Hindi supernatural movie that shows how a mother protects her daughter from evil forces. Kajol plays a mother, the teacher of her daughter, and a single parent who is logic-based, pragmatic, and does not believe in superstition at all. Kajol’s world, as she knows it, falls apart when her daughter becomes the new target of the unseen and unnatural forces.

In a world of high-octane thrillers and fantasy epics, Maa arrives as a gentle, emotionally charged film that tugs at the heartstrings with its simple yet powerful storytelling. Directed with sensitivity and performed with heartfelt authenticity, Maa is more than just a film it’s a celebration of maternal love, sacrifice, and strength.

The Story

The film is a mythological horror-thriller centered on a mother’s anxious attempt to protect her child from the terror of an unknown, ancient evil. The horror is set in a mythical past in an unnamed and timeless Bengal village. The schoolteacher’s(kajol) beliefs about a curse from centuries ago, or a moribund goddess, disconnected any sympathy for the villagers’ plight. She’s unaccepting of her child’s terrifying phenomena and unexplainable illness, and endeavors to dismiss her child’s experience, speaking to her daughter normally with skepticism. The film reveals the troubling nature of her new village life, in a patchwork narrative quilt of ritual sacrifices, buried guilt, and female divinity, gagged by patriarchal anxiety. Maa takes the audience from emotional suspense to believing mother, to channeling a divine sense of justice.

The Plot

Maa is a mythological horror film set in Chandarpur, a village haunted by a dark legacy of ritualistic sacrifices of baby girls. These brutal traditions have scarred generations. Kajol plays Ambika, a teacher from Kolkata, who returns to the village with her daughter Shweta after her husband Shuvankar’s sudden death. Unaware of his blood connection to an ancient curse linked to the demon Raktabeej, Ambika soon faces terrifying events. As young girls begin to vanish, she learns her daughter is the next target. Ambika rises from grief, channeling the power of goddess Kali to protect Shweta. In a gripping climax, she confronts demonic forces in a fierce battle where maternal love, faith, and divine strength become her weapons against darkness.

The Rating

Maa offers a potent mixture of mythology and horror anchored into place by Kajol’s performance. It contains merit as it offers a depth of emotion and strong visual effects. It brings a fairly strong character of mythology and folklore with modern storytelling together incredibly well. While you can feel a slight dip of pacing in the middle, the climactic end and drive of motherhood defies the convention of a sophistry approach to the world of horror. Ambika’s change from a grieving mother to a divine warrior hits hard. If you are looking for the latest movie review of powerful Indian cinema, Maa is well worth the watch as it has a great mix of chills and heart. Certainly, one you will want to add to your watchlist!

The film is an entry in the Final Destination Franchise and was released on May 16, 2025, the first new installment in 14 years. Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky, this stunning installment delivers a fresh twist that truly lives up to the hype.

The near-collapse of Seattle’s Skyview Tower in 1968, escaped by Iris Campbell, marks the origin of Fate’s generational reckoning.

Overview and Plot

Stefani Reyes is haunted by terrifying visions after her grandmother disrupted death’s plan in 1968, and now vengeance targets descendants. Desperate to survive, Stefani and Charlie attempt Bludworth’s CPR trick to cheat fate, but ultimately, death triumphs in brutal fashion.

Final Destination: Bloodlines franchise moves forward with high-concept generational stakes, creative death scenes, and a poignant focus on legacy and emotional loss. Strong reviews and high box office returns, this marks a triumphant return and satisfying conclusion to a beloved horror franchise.

The screenplay masterfully blends suspense and dark humour, turning everyday items blenders, fans, hospital gear into chilling tools of fatal precision. Touted as the franchise’s best-reviewed entry with 92–93% on Rotten Tomatoes, it earns praise for its generational twist death targets descendants. This flips the tension, as well as the emotional stakes, in a new way.

Although Bloodlines shines with its blood and creative death traps, many reviewers were critical of its story and characters. The generational curse angle felt underdeveloped lightly touched upon without the depth or originality needed to truly elevate the film.
There were a lot of CGIs in the death scenes, it made the death scenes too cartoony.
“Some of the deaths seemed to lack proper buildup, there was no slow-burn paranoia like in the previous films.

The Verdict

Movie is brutal bloodbath with real emotional stakes, featuring bloody fun and an emotional farewell to a fan-favorite franchise character. Fans craving bloody thrills and franchise nostalgia will be satisfied, but those seeking deeper substance may find it somewhat lacking. But overall, it delivers what the series does best and then some.
