From Nashik to the IPL

Sahil Ulhas Parakh was born on June 7, 2007, in Nashik, Maharashtra. This city is known for its vineyards and the Kumbh Mela. It’s quietly producing cricket stars.

Sahil’s dad, Ulhas Parakh, was his coach. Many great Indian cricketers have a parent who believed in them from the start. Sahil worked hard balancing school and cricket. He went to Wisdom High International School in Nashik. Now inspires students and local sports teams.

Sahil has played for Maharashtra at the age of 14. This set the stage for him to start his cricket career.

The Knock That Changed Everything

In the Under -19 Match India vs Australia, Sahil scored 109 runs off 75 balls, which led India to victory, which also marked his presence on the national stage. 

He played that Inning smartly, aggressively, and under pressure. It makes the selectors to notice such a young talent.

Delhi Capitals surprised fans by giving Sahil his IPL debut against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Fans were excited to see a young player get his chance.

The debut didn’t go as planned. Veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a yorker that dismissed Sahil for a duck. The video went viral with fans praising Bhuvneshwar for one of the deliveries of the tournament.

The mood in the media is split into two groups: RCB fans celebrating Bhuvi’s yorker and fans supporting the teenager with “he’ll bounce back” energy.
