What happens when three desperate men steal an ATM in the middle of a freezing winter night and then have absolutely no idea how to open it? That is the delightfully absurd, darkly funny, and surprisingly tense premise of MOMACU Motor Machis Aur Cutter, the upcoming KableOne Original film that is all set to make its exclusive OTT debut on June 4, 2026.
The Story
Set against the raw, rustic backdrop of rural Haryana, MOMACU is a dark comedy musical thriller that unfolds over the course of a single chaotic night. Three financially struggling men, driven by desperation and the dream of a better life, pull off what they believe will be a quick and easy heist stealing an ATM machine. But as is always the case with the best of crime comedies, nothing goes according to plan.
After hauling the ATM to a tube well motor room and attempting to crack it open before sunrise, the trio finds themselves trapped in a spiraling nightmare of greed, fear, and fractured trust. The title itself — Motor Machis Aur Cutter — is a wink at the bare-bones tools they carry into this impossibly chaotic situation. As one character’s tagline puts it: “Bhola bhali karega” — a darkly ironic promise that everything will work out just fine.
Cast and Crew
MOMACU brings together a strong ensemble cast including Jatin Sarna, Apoorva Arora, Yashpal Sharma, T.J. Dutt, and Gourav Sharma, among others. Veteran actor Yashpal Sharma has described the film as unusually layered — dark and gripping, yet filled with moments that will catch audiences completely off guard.
Actress Apoorva Arora, never one to mince words, compared the film to The Simpsons of ATM theft stories, noting that the ATM itself functions almost as a character — a silent, immovable force around which all the human drama revolves. “We, the human characters, revolve around it,” she explained at the trailer launch, “each with our own individual storylines and personal struggles and problems that ultimately bring us all together over the course of a single night.”

The film is written and directed by Kuldeep Kunal, and produced by Sumeet Singh, Harry Bhatti, and Satender Satya Sehrawat under the banners of Art Beat House and Art Worshipers Productions, presented by KableOne Original and Saga Studios. The trailer launch event, held on May 19, 2026, at Cinepolis, Andheri West, Mumbai, was graced by acclaimed actor Jaideep Ahlawat as the chief guest, who praised the film’s rooted storytelling and its unpredictable world.
Why MOMACU Stands Out
In a streaming landscape that’s crowded with big-budget thrillers and high-concept dramas, MOMACU kind of dares to be different, like really. It feels like a film that trusts its small town setting, its flawed characters, and the comedy that just slides out naturally from human desperation, not forced at all. The cold Haryanvi winter, the dim bulb of a motor room, and three men arguing over a machine they can’t open, it’s both hilarious and honestly pretty relatable.
Producer Sumeet Singh put it best: “Momacu is the kind of cinema that dares to step away from formula storytelling. Every member of the team has worked with complete passion to create a film that feels raw, entertaining, and real at the same time.”

MOMACU is available in Multiple Languages options with some interesting musical elements added to it. It’s a mix of both thriller formats and comedy, which adds a very rare element to the film.
The Verdict (Before It Drops)
From its dialogue promos to its official trailer, MOMACU (Motor Machis Aur Cutter0 has already generated considerable buzz. It has the flavour of the kind of film that sneaks up on you, understated in its premise, but layered in execution. If the trailer is any indication, audiences are in for one wild, cold, chaotic night in rural Haryana.
MOMACU (Motor Machis Aur Cutter) streams exclusively on KableOne from June 4, 2026.
